Another conj, another three days of awesome. Hundreds of Clojurians met in Raleigh, NC for a single track of leading edge talks from the community. What did this year's Clojure/conj have to offer? I recently presented Clojure & CFML Sitting In A Tree remotely to the Houston CFUG via Adobe Connect. The presentation was recorded and is available to watch on Adobe Connect: Clojure & CFML Sitting In A Tree. The presentation is also listed on Charlie Arehart's User Group Television which is a great archive of presentations about Adobe-related technologies.

For some time at World Singles, we've been running a suite of Selenium-based tests as part of our automated build. We have been using the selenese Ant task and HTML-based test descriptions. We have 58 tests containing 337 commands and it takes about five and a half minutes to run that section of our build. We can also run most of the individual Selenium tests in the browser using the Selenium core HTML/JS tool. It's been working pretty well for us but there are a couple of sticking points. We're expanding our Clojure / CFML development team and looking for our next "Senior Web Applications Developer". You'll get to work from home full-time, with myself, Charlie Griefer and the rest of our small (but growing) development team spread out across the USA.
