From the dreamy world of building fascinating LEGO constructs and drawing plans of automated machines, Gáspár Nagy switched almost seamlessly to dive into the growing possibilities of programming personal computers. He started with writing console LAN games, moved on to lecturing seminars at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest and eventually graduated there as MSc. Gaspar’s professional career started as a software developer in 1998 and he joined TechTalk in 2001, where he has been the leading software architect for the last few years. He is an approved trainer in the Certified Scrum Developer program of Scrum Alliance. In his everyday quest to make commercial software more efficient, he encountered several interesting challenges like stressing different architectural patterns or applying agile engineering practices in distributed teams. His current focus lies on making BDD common sense on the .NET platform, in which he is also leading the open source project SpecFlow. BDD is not only a simple job from Monday to Friday -- it is the central topic of his PhD research at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest.
