Checklist

  • VS2005 (not VC# Express)
  • You haven't previously disabled loading of any Add-ins?
  • Also bin\fsi.exe starts correctly when used from the command line.
  • vf.addin is present in your "bin" directory off your F# installation
  • No other strange paths are in your "Add-in File Paths".

This is what I see in the options:

This is what I see in the Add-in Manager

Don - thanks for the checklist. My installation is compliant with all the requirements. My hunch is that this is probably something to do with VS as opposed to F#. I don't have any other add-ins, so i'll look around for something innocuous to install to see if i have any problems.

Thanks,
Tejus

i just want to add that the interactive mode doesn't work for me, too. of course i followed the checklist here, but everything seems to be ok.

the VS install is also quite fresh and used for nothing else than F#.

the only thing "special" here is that i use a german VS and it is installed in a non-standard path...

OK - can we follow up on fsbugs (AT) microsoft.com? If you could send us a few screen shots of editing F# code, the AddIn menus and option paths, fsi.exe starting up from the command line etc. then that would be great.

thanks

:-) The auto-email notifications on this site are fantastic - you can get sent an email as soon as anyone posts here. I highly recommend signing up to these or to RSS.
