Hi,

I'm glad to see people are coming back to F# and its even better to know they like what they see.

I believe Don has said he will make a road map available soon. Last I heard a version 2.0 of the language will be released towards the end of the year, possibly as early as september, but more likely to be arround Novemeber/December. I believe the team will then start focusing on the libraries and tools rather than the core language, at least for a while.

Standardisation is an interesting question. What benerfit do you think it would give? The source is already available so you can see exactly how it works, so this removes some of the motivations for standardisation. Also it seems unlikely that some one would want to produce a version of the compiler for another platform as it already runs on other platforms via mono.

Cheers,
Rob
