Oh never mind. I figured those links at upper part of the download page were for IDEs themselves. How embarrassing.

No problem, did everything go OK with your install?

No problem with installation.

Although I am slightly disappointed with documentation in that there is no coherent in-depth tutorial for building "your first websharper app". By that I mean something more than some button and textbox with "Hello world!". Both documentation and tutorials contain bits and pieces that leaves inexperienced developers wondering how to cobble something useful together out of these pieces.

Guess I simply expected WebSharper to be more easily accessible that it proved out to be. This might be whole lot easier for devs who have prior experience with ASP.NET, sadly I do not.

If you have any suggestions, I'll gladly accept them.

Can you elaborate on the bit and pieces that you thought were missing from the documentation?

As for examples that go beyond "Hello World", the site links to dozens of examples, and there is a fairly thorough page that describes how to run them.

WebSharper needs almost no background in ASP.NET, other than being able to check and change basic configuration of the web container, but then you can also self-host your applications and not deal with those.

As for accessibility, we recently started a new site called Try WebSharper and its Twitter handle #trywebsharper posted several snippets that might be helpful to newcomers.

So all in all, any feedback you can give about what information might help you better would be appreciated.
