For something a bit more heavyweight, there's FunctionalNHibernate, a layer on top of NHibernate to make it more F# friendly.

I heard about Soma recently from another F# developer:

I haven't tried it myself yet, but I think I will next time I need an ORM.

Yes, same here - I should have remembered it, I came across Soma a while ago. I pinged the author, perhaps he can comment here and answer some questions.

I am no expert on micro ORMs but don't they all use dynamic code generation or some sort of weak runtime binding?
