Well, Microsoft are not going to be in any rush to port it to anything that is not running some varient of Windows, but they have made the specification and implementation details of the underlying CLR available and do cooperate with people working on ports to other architectures.
I haven't looked at the CLR implementation details, but I would guess that it is quite easy to get an initial port running. The difficulty is getting an efficient port running - it's an interpretor and any inefficiencies would seriously harm the performance of your program.

physics, I come from the academic background but I am also a software
engineer by profession, I was exposed to this modeling world in my
studies in the university and wanted to combine both my passions,
physics and software design and help academic people write better code.
I started to get interested in HPC with MPI or CO-Array in FORTRAN, I
saw your talk on dnrTV and wanted to ask you if F# is used in super
computers, is it implemented by the big clusters out there.
Basically my question is, do I still need to learn Fortran to write parallel code for supercomputers or F# is going to be available on those kind of
systems.
If would love to hear opinions by experts, I do see my self
working with large data and scientific calculations in the future so I
would like to get the right tools for the job.
